Oh, where to begin? Ulrika was born in Jort's Ferry to a family of Singers. Tragically she lost her father when she was young (her father was killed in Victoria after a party). The family struggled with poverty and her brother Viktor arranged a Companionship for her to a man with a reputation for losing Companions to death, so she fled from Jort's Ferry, eventually ending up on Scagnar Isle. here she met her first Companion and had her daughter, Arika She also met her family, becoming adopted into the Stonegates by Brandanon, along with other adoptees Trei and Erika. After her first Companion was lost in a shipwreck, she eventually Companioned again, though he left for . . well, somewhere else. Leaving Scagnar, Ulrika settled along the Vosk, living first in Tetrapoli, then White Water. These stays were short-lived, as Trei thought it best to move his people to the Genesian Port. Life in the Genesian Port was good. She started a small farm there, as well as ran the bath house, often sending her slave wendy to work there. She made more friends here, people she trusted implicitly. She even was Companioned again, to her delight. However, the Warriors were recalled to Ar so the station closed. It took a year, but Ulrika settled in Minus, soon joined by her sister and brother. It's important to keep the family together. Ulrika has prospered in Minus, helping at times when things were dark, hiding the home stone when it was her turn, spying on raiders by acting as a Singer from Cos, laying a curse on invaders when they were forced to flee to Lydius. A refugee, she helped in attempts to recapture the city, even going so far as to shave her head to donate her hair to make ropes for catapults. When Minus was restored, she reclaimed her home and life returned to normal. In fact it was even better when an old friend from Scagnar, Ruby, settled in Minus along with her Companion. Ulrika took part in turtle races, participated in the Clash of Castes and, when her Companionship ended, restored her brother's Winery. After she spent time as a Love Wars Prize, Ulrika worked to get things set in her life. She Companioned again, producing a son from this union, Brandanon, named for her brother who had gone to Thassa as an explorer. When this Companion was recalled to the Plains, she felt down, but then reunited with an old friend Mahaz. The pair Companioned and Ulrika was most happy with this.
